Food Service Worker/Cashier, Food Court - Part time

Flexible Schedule Needed! 

Should expect to work any shift from 5:30 am to 8:30 pm and weekends as needed (usually a minimum of at least 2 weekends per month).

Job Description:

  • Rings up all sales accurately and provides customer with correct change in a courteous manner following departmental policies and procedures.
  • Communicate prices of goods or services to customers                                              
  • Perform routine tabulation of bills using calculators, cash registers, or optical price scanners.                                                                                               
  • Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers 
  • Deposits cash receipt following departmental policies and procedures.
  • Follows departmental cash control and cash flows policies and procedures.
  • Maintains neat orderly work area.
  • Practices infection control procedures (e.g. hand washing) for the protection of self and others.
  • Demonstrates a working knowledge of food service sanitation; use accepted techniques in handling preparation service and holding of food items to patients’ employees and guests.
  • Responds to changes in the workload schedule as necessary; use time in a productive manner.
  • Rotates shift as required including weekend and holidays.
  • Responds willingly to job requests and in a favorable manner as required.
  • Responds to others in the department in a helpful manner especially in times of increased activity.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 1 year of cashier experience preferred.
